FY2023 Topics
Dalian Seiko Instruments Inc. in China is committed to ongoing greening initiatives. In managing green spaces, the use of insecticides and herbicides is minimized, while dead branches and fallen leaves are composted and recycled on-site.
At Dalian Seiko Instruments Inc. (DSI) in China, efforts were directed toward enhancing the cooling water system.
Traditional cooling water systems consumed a fixed amount of electricity, unaffected by load changes or air temperature fluctuations. By introducing pump operation control responsive to load variations, we achieved an approximately 50% reduction in electricity consumption. Moving forward, we aim to explore the recovery and reuse of heat from the cooling water system during winter months.
